About

Woodley is a road that begins in town and winds through rolling cattle pasture, hardwood bottoms, and serene pine stands into south Montgomery County, Alabama.

Woodley is about what is to come, which stand to sit in, which tree to set up on, or which pond to place the spread.

Woodley Road is the name sake of the classic song, popularized by the Eagles and Alan Jackson, Seven Bridges Road.

The excitement leading up to a trip down Woodley involves selecting the perfect shotgun from the gun closet, packing the shell totes with 9s, 8s, and 7.5s or 2s, BBs and Ts, searching high and low for that same sling that is always missing, and checking the forecast to decide how thick of long johns to wear.

All of this embodies what it means to take a trip down Woodley to that special place. This collection of leather goods, waxed canvas bags, and duck stamp products are my take on the classics I grew up using with my father after we took a trip down Woodley.
